El Martinete

9 Bedrooms / 9 Bathrooms
Built 2,000m² / Plot 6,000m²
The Renaissance-style house is a piece of art with a lot of history. It opens onto a double height atrium surrounded by columns and centered around a massive chandelier. In the main building, with 6 bedrooms, we can see the marble fireplaces, a dining room lined with arched columns, 2 swimming pools (covered and open), sauna, elevator, garage and parking for several cars, impressive garden, terraces with sea views, access to private beach. Two guest houses contain 4 bedrooms, several living rooms, an office and various additional spaces. The property is designed with an accent on antique doors, black, white and pink marble pillars. French windows lead to the patio with fountain. The outdoor terrace, in black, white and blue marble, has views over a garden. The buyer of the villa will not acquire one of the most prestigious properties in the region only, but a unique piece of art also.

From the moment you enter the villa's impressive grand foyer you will see immediately why this property is one of the most famous in the south of Spain. Decadent Roman accents greet you at all times, while modern luxuries create a perfectly balanced oasis that brims with everything your heart could desire. There are plenty of spaces for everyone to relax and grow - spend your days in your indoor pool with a bar, in your home office, soaking in one of its many tubs. Enjoy the sensational Spanish sun in its beautiful gardens, with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and access to the beach. Relax and take a dip in your outdoor pool signed by Pablo Picasso, personal friend of the original owner and famous flamenco dancer Antonio El Bailarín. The backyard has an incredibly rare and one-of-a-kind raised beach deck that cannot be replicated today, according to modern building lows.

HISTORY
Antonio El Bailarín and the genius Picasso enjoyed a friendship born of admiration. In one of the many flamenco parties that Picasso attended, the painter ended up crying when he saw Antonio dance. In the celebration of the artist Picasso's 80th birthday, accompanied by Maria Callas and a very young Sean Connery, Picasso knelt, kissed Antonio El Bailarín on the face and when he got up he promised to give him a gift ... That's where the drawing reproduced in the pool comes from.
